Week in Review: vol 10

Second week of homeschooling is in the books. I’m not sure how that happened so fast. We’ve been focusing on our Great Lessons work (we are doing one per week the first five weeks, you can read more about them here). I figure our first five weeks back are kinda a jumpstart and transition period after a Summer of too much TV and sleeping in late. We’re doing a lot of review to ease back in before we tackle more challenging work.

This upcoming week I’m 100% committed to posting about our Great Lesson experiences — especially our DIY long black strip and visit to a 300 year old tree for the presentation.

Monday was a holiday and spent outdoors as much as possible (even with the Florida heat).

Might not get a true Fall down here, but I still love our area’s natural beauty.

All in all a really laid back week. Next week we will be presenting the History of Communication / Writing in Signs, so wish us luck.
